Non-profit organization that creates jobs and life skill opportunities for adults with special needs in Grosse Pointe.

We help individuals with special needs acquire life skills that encourage and enable independence and meaningful engagement in the communities in which they live.  Our programs offer the opportunities for young adults to engage in real-life, real-time activities where they learn to put practice into production on the way to success at learning new skills.  Our current programs include:

Grosse Pointe Community Chorus

The GP Community Chorus is a 70-member adult chorus that has been in continuous existence since 1953. Chorus members come from across the tri-county area to rehearse each Tuesday night during our two concert seasons.  Auditions are not required.  All you need is a joy of singing.  A fee is charged each season to cover the cost of music and the professional fees of our director, Joseph Palazzolo, and our accompanist, Ron Pietrantoni. Rehearsal tracks are also available for each section.
