CRUISIN’ THROUGH THE WOODS
Bring the whole family and join us for an evening of fun! Meet at Ghesquire Park for bike decorating, a 1.5 mile ride, and ice cream for purchase at the finish line!
When: Sunday, June 11 from 4 – 6 PM
Where: Ghesquire Park 20025 Mack (Meeet at Jackson lot)
Ride begins at 4:30

The Citizens’ Recreation Commission is looking for Community Volunteers to help with the CRUISIN’ IN THE WOODS! Family Fun Ride.
Volunteer Info
Adults 18 and older are needed to help participants safely navigate the bike route along Jackson, Van Antwerp, Helen and Kenmore Streets.
Volunteers will need to check in by 3:45 p.m. at the volunteer table located at the Ghesquiere Park Jackson parking lot. A volunteer meeting will begin promptly at 3:50 p.m.
The Village Paint the Windows
Paint the Window will take place from 3-7 on Thursday July 27th (check-in begins at 2:30), with the theme “Color My World”
Returning this year is the all-ages category. That’s right, now you don’t have to be a kid to paint the window! In addition to categories and prizes for students, there will also be a category for adults who wish to participate. This year we’ll once again be awarding age group prizes and the popular People’s Choice award! Stay for the final Music on the Plaza concert or come back for the newly rebranded “Streetside Sale-ebration” (formerly known as the sidewalk sale) on Friday and Saturday July 28 & 29th to find your favorite window and then vote for it online
