In celebration of the holidays, we’re throwing a tea party. Bring your friends and loved ones for an elegant tea service with small bites and sweets in our beautiful Lake Shore Room overlooking Ford Cove and Lake St. Clair. After the tea, take a stroll at your own pace through the historic home and spend time enjoying the Christmas decor.
Santa will make his annual stop at Ford House to visit with your children. This year, children will meet with Santa by the fireplace in the lakeside St. Clair Room in our Administration Building. You can snap your own family photos to cherish this holiday moment. Santa will send each child home with one of his favorite sweet treats. Children can also write a letter to Santa to be shared with him at their visit.

Grosse Pointe Historical Society invites you to the soft opening of their new headquarters at 375 Kercheval with an exhibit and sale of the black-and-white landscape photography of Eric Stroh. Please celebrate with us on Small Business Saturday, November 26, Museum Sunday, November 27, and Giving Tuesday, November 29. Hours for the opening receptions are 3-7 p.m. on all three days. Admission is free with complimentary wine, coffee, and punch. Children are welcome. The artwork and other GPHS items are available for purchase.
