The Grosse Pointe War Memorial Veterans Club will have a program on Emergency Response to a medical event or possible crisis such as hazmat spill, a commercial airline that crashes on I-94 near Metropolitan Airport or Covid-19. These are only a few of the incidents. Wayne County Commissioner Tim Killeen of the 1st District has been asked to introduce the speaker, Tim Mautz, who is the Chief of Emergency Preparedness, Response and Support for Wayne County. His presentation is on the medical portion for Health and Human Services which covers medical emergency events. All counties in Michigan must follow the Michigan Emergency Management Act PA 1990.
