GROSSE POINTE WAR MEMORIAL VETERANS CLUB
The Grosse Pointe War Memorial Veterans Club, Inc. will meet on Saturday, September 16. Gathering at 1 PM and welcome at 1:30 PM in the Veterans Room of the Alger House.
The purpose of the gathering is to get to know members, auxiliary members – families without veteran and possible new members.
At 3:30 PM, a tour of the War Memorial along with the Les Braves II Sculpture at waters edge is planned.
The program is over at 4 PM.

In this financial wellness presentation for young professionals, Melissa Fradenburg will delve into crucial topics such as understanding and optimizing your debt-to-income ratio, unlocking strategies to boost your cash flow, and demystifying the question of how much you should be setting aside for a secure retirement.
Weaving Wellness into Work
Well-being Educator and Embodiment teacher Cass Ghiorse will discuss the importance of taking time for wellness at work. With science-backed data and anecdotal evidence, Cass will demonstrate why taking care of ourselves throughout the workday can no longer be seen as a luxury but a necessity. She will present simple and accessible exercises that can be done throughout the day to help avoid burnout, improve focus and boost the overall well-being of your mind, body, and business.
In addition to the presentation portion of this event, guests will have the opportunity to receive a complimentary headshot courtesy of event sponsor, Rod Arroyo of Portraits by Rod.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS AT FORD HOUSE
Home for the Holidays is a new winter experience at Ford House, where visitors can enjoy a beautifully lit evening walk throughout the historic estate, marveling at the glittering white lights and the first floor of the Main Residence.
During the self-guided tour, you will hear captivating stories about the estate’s rich history as you take in the home’s understated elegance, a look inspired by Eleanor Ford’s tastes and wishes. Each ticket also includes a complimentary hot chocolate.
